As soon as she pushed the door open and got out, Serene went toward her. She exclaimed with an exaggerated gawk on her face. “Wow, Miss Daugherty! Adina was speechless. 

Did her personal life have anything to do with her work?

She sneered. “Good. Let me see if you‘re still able to laugh during the result presentation later, Miss Daugherty.” 

After she spoke, she swung her hand and left. Her assistant and her secretary immediately followed her. 

“Awesome, Miss Daugherty!” Serene‘s expression was filled with admiration. “Miss Yackley always abuses the support of Jones Corporation and her mother to throw her weight about. This is actually the first time that I saw her being defeated.”
