Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children novel Chapter 759

Chapter 759

Duke's voice faltered and the room fell silent. The only sound was the rustle of wind outside the window. Adina stared at him.

“You disappeared on our wedding day,” she said slowly.

"He came to the Winters family's mansion pretending to be you.He lived in your house, was a husband to your wife, was a father to your children, took charge of your company…You were chased out here, having to carry responsibilities that were not yours…” Her voice rang in Duke’s ears.

A fractured memory surfaced in his mind.

The past emerged in his thoughts one by one, like fleeting scenes from a train window.

Beads of cold sweat formed on his forehead.

“Duke, what's wrong?” Adina rushed toward him and took his arm.

“The back of my head hurts...” Duke closed his eyes.

“A lot of repressed memories…but I can't remember anything...”

"Don't worry ...,” said Adina softly.

She held him.

“You only need to remember that you are my husband, a father to your children, and you have a full and happy family. So, hurry and settle your problems at Hestia Border, then our family can finally be reunited.” Duke understood how painful it wouldbe to forcefully awaken his memories, but he had to try to remember.

He did not want to meet someone from his past and remember nothing about them.

If that happened, he would even misunderstand his own wife...

Adina felt horrible seeing him in pain. She let out a tearful sigh.

"First, settle the Black Party problems, then we'll discuss about Earl.At least he's not as difficult as the Black Party for now,” she said

“I’ve wronged you.” Duke pulled the woman close and hugged her.

When he had faced his supposed twin brother, he had reeked of blood.

Duke could sense that Earl had committed murder before. He could not believe Adina, as fragile as she looked, had had to deal with someone like Earl.
