Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children novel Chapter 837

Chapter 837

After finishing their work in the morning, Adina, Serene, and a few colleagues went downstairs for lunch.

Just as Adina walked through the restaurant‘s door, she saw Sean and a young woman sitting near the restaurant‘s window. The woman was wearing a gorgeous and seductive outfit.

She leaned on Sean as she sat, and her chest was pressed against Sean‘s arm. Meanwhile, the man was moving his hand over her waist and hips. If this had not been a public place, Adina would have thought that the two of them would give a live performance.

“Let‘s go somewhere else,” she said indifferently.

Before she could turn around, Sean spotted her and immediately came forward. “Addy, please come over and sit. I‘ve been waiting for you for a long time.”

When Adina saw his smiling face, she felt extremely uncomfortable. “I‘m not free,” she said coldly.

“Addy, aren‘t you having lunch anyway? Let‘s eat together then.” Sean chuckled to make Adina stay. “I‘d like to talk to you about something serious.”

“Ms. Daugherty, Seany just wants to invite you for lunch to apologize to you.” The woman also walked over and lowered her voice. “Sophia was being unreasonable. She criticized her late aunt in public, so your slap was definitely well–deserved.”

Adina felt a little nauseous.

She really did not want to deal with these people, but they insisted on getting in her way, so they could not blame her for speaking rudely.

“If Sophia is unreasonable, what about you?” Adina asked with disdain. “You‘re only in your early twenties. Why would you want to be a mistress out of everything? Didn‘t your parents teach you to behave yourself?”
