Chapter 926
Harold pursed his lips tightly. Recently, George had been repeatedly telling him that their mommy was in a bad mood, and he had asked him not to offend her. He had seen his mommy sternly correct the servants a few times when they did something wrong.
Once, he heard the servants privately discuss how his mommy was getting increasingly bad tempered. He wanted to refute them, but he could not do it because he also felt that his mommy was becoming less and less like the mommy who used to love and pamper him unconditionally.
Alden had mentioned that their mommy would be back to normal following a new year and new atmosphere.
But why did he sense that things were getting worse? “Mommy, did you really break Aunt Jasmine‘s finger?” Harold opened his mouth and softly asked.
The relaxed atmosphere that Adina had tried to create instantly froze.
“That woman isn‘t your aunt,” Duke said indifferently. “She insulted your late grandma and your mommy. Having her finger broken is the price she has to pay.”
Harold pursed his lips and did not look into the issue again.
The gloomy atmosphere in the car lasted until they arrived at the mansion. When they watched the countdown show at night, the children did not seem very interested either. Melody was the most innocent kid, but even she looked gloomy when she sat on the couch in silence.
Adina sighed deeply.
The mistress of a family had a big impact on the family unit. Now that she was the way she was, all of her children dared not even speak loudly.
Melody had initially been autistic, but she was finally behaving like an ordinary kid. Would her autistic worsen again after Adina frightened her?
