When Madeline and Fabian heard the sound, they looked up at the same time.
Numerous tall men wearing special equipment surrounded Carter.
As for Carter, he seemed to know these people, so he was not particularly surprised, and instead, he just sneered.
“You found me.“ He raised his eyes contemptuously. When he was about to resist, a familiar voice came from behind the group of people.
“They didn’t find you. I told them that you are here.“

“Did you really tell them that I’m here?“

Piaf otherwise?“
When Shirley answered affirmatively, Carter laughed and then closed his eyes. When he opened his eyes again, his face was already horribly gloomy.
“Do you really hate me so much that you can’t wait for me to die?“ Carter asked Shirley as he looked into Shirley’s indifferent eyes.
Shirley looked coldly at the face which she had admired for many years, and her vision gradually blurred.
“You still have time to turn back now.“
“Turn back?“ Carter repeated these two words with a chuckle.
He looked at the group of people surrounding him, and his smile became even more sarcastic.
“How do you expect me to turn back? Can I start everything again if I were to turn back? If I turned back, would I still be the viscount of St. Piaf
