This was a pretty good ending.
Jeremy smiled and bent down to hug his son. “Jack, don’t worry. Your mommy is so smart, how would she allow that nasty woman to bully her?“
“Really?“ Jackson was still a little uneasy. “Mommy, were you really not being bullied by that nasty woman?“
When she saw that her son was so worried about her, Madeline nodded vigorously and affirmatively.
“Really, I’m fine.“
“That’s good. It’s good that you’re fine, Mommy.“ Jackson breathed a silent sigh of relief.
“Of course, nothing will happen to her because she expected this to happen a long time ago.“ Jeremy carried his son while explaining and walking towards the car parked at the door.
Jackson blinked his eyes curiously. “What does this mean?“
“It means that your mommy has long known that this nasty woman will find her, so she has long been prepared, and I’ve always been behind Mommy. So, as long as Mommy might get bullied, I’ll show up to protect her, “ Jeremy explained patiently.
After hearing that, Jackson looked at Madeline with admiration.
“Mommy, you’re so amazing. I admire you more and more now.”
“Really?” Madeline deliberately pretended not to believe him. “Don’t you admire your daddy the most?”
“No, you’re my idol, Mommy!” Jackson raised his handsome face and said proudly.
Madeline felt warn when she heard that, and she deliberately cast a victorious look at Jeremy.
Jeremy did not mind Madeline’s look at him.
After the family of three returned home happily, it did not take long for Madeline to receive a message from Hannah with a link attached.
