Madeline Crawford and Jeremy Whitman novel Chapter 2148

“Who’s this?“

“This is my girlfriend, Ava.“

“   “ Naya’s mother was stunned when she heard that. Then, the way she looked at Ava changed immediately. She said in a strange tone, “Oh, you’re that Miss Long who angered Daniel’s grandpa so much that he was hospitalized.“

After she said that, the air around them immediately became tense.

Ava was surprised and shocked. What did she have to do with Daniel’s grandfather being hospitalized? “

“Mrs. Mendez, please don’t spew nonsense. Grandpa getting hospitalized has nothing to do with my girlfriend.“ Daniel’s face turned cold, and it seemed that he was not happy with what Naya’s mother had said.

However, Naya’s mother scoffed nonchalantly. “ Hmph, how could it have nothing to do with her? Your grandpa collapsed because he was enraged that you wouldn’t break up with this woman. His condition is unstable until now.“

After Naya’s mother said that, she advised Daniel like she was doing it out of kindness.

“Daniel, I watched you grow up. You’re being unwise right now. Anyone with discerning eyes can see that this woman is clinging to you and refusing to give you up because of your money. She’s not sincere at all. Why are you doing this to an ordinary and servile woman?“

As Naya’s mother said those nasty words, she did not forget to roll her eyes at Ava.

“Miss Long, I should tell you to leave Daniel as soon as possible. Nothing good will come out of this. A marriage without the blessing of the parents will not go well! “

Naya’s mother went off at Ava without holding back. Then, a rare look of anger appeared on Daniel’s gentle face in that instant.

“Daniel, don’t be mad. I’m fine. I’ve never cared about the nonsense spewed by irrelevant people. “ Ava grabbed Daniel and smiled at Naya’s mother. “ I’m sorry for worrying you, Mrs. Mendez. Danny and I won’t break up just because of some external obstructions. Even if we do split up one day, we won’t let those vile characters with ulterior motives get what they want.“

When Naya’s mother heard this, her expression changed instantly.
