Daniel saw Ava deep in thought and suddenly grabbed her hand.
“Actually, I know nothing about her. I only want to know more about you.“ Daniel looked into Ava’s eyes solemnly.
Ava was stunned for a while, and she quickly felt Daniel’s concern and care for her.
After dinner, Daniel walked with Ava for a while before sending her back to her apartment.
When they were about to part ways, Daniel grabbed the door handle. His eyes were filled with innocence and disappointment.
“Don’t ignore my calls again. No matter how hard it’s going to get, trust that I won’t give up on you.“
He promised and suddenly planted a kiss on Ava’s forehead.
“Ava, don’t take what others say to heart and don’t let them affect our relationship, okay?“
Ava knew she had made Daniel sad by ignoring his calls before this, so she nodded quickly.
“Don’t worry, Maddie talked to me today and I know I’m the one at fault. I won’t be so willful next time. A relationship is a two-way street. I shouldn’t let you handle this all by yourself. We should solve whatever difficulties that are thrown at us together.“
After he heard this, a relieved smile appeared on Daniel’s face.
When Daniel turned around, Ava stood at the door.
Ava only closed the door when Daniel’s figure was out of her vision.
The moment she sat down, her phone rang.
It was from Madeline, and Ava quickly swiped her finger across the screen to answer it.
“Maddie, I was about to call you! “
