After Ava said that in a joking tone, she turned her attention to Laura, whose face was gradually falling.
"Actually, I saw the draft when I was bringing the coffee over to you this afternoon. However, I wasn’t i n the mood to expose you then."
As she said that, she looked at Bill, whose forehead was drenched in cold sweat.
"I also knew that you wanted to drive me away when you so kindly asked m e to take a break and go home.Bill, we’ve been working together for so many years yet you think I don’t know what kind of person you are?" Bill’s complexion was growing worse.
Even though he was nervous, he still did not forget to retort.
"Ava, what are you talking about? What do you mean I’m purposely driving you away? I saw how you’ve not been concentrating at work, so I asked you to go back to rest out of kindness. It’s fine that you don’t appreciate my kindness, but you’re even slandering m e now.Y-You—"
"Only dogs slander people.I don’t do that.I’m only telling the truth,"
Ava retorted calmly.
"It’s not a coincidence that I’m here.I knew you were coming here, so I followed you all."
When Bill heard what Ava said, he looked even more nervous.
Then, he raised his hand unnaturally to wipe off the sweat on his forehead.
Since he had drunk some alcohol just now, his face was red.
Right now, his face looked even oilier than before. It made him look even uglier.
Mr.Lowe looked at Bill and smiled at Ava.
"Are you Ava?" Ava nodded.
"Hello, Mr.Lowe.I'm Ava Long from the design department." Mr.Lowe nodded.
"Well then, Ava, are you sure Laura’s design is the one you deleted?"
"I can guarantee you that this is Ava’s design!"
