"Mary, calm down." Jessie had already known all of this. When she scolded me, this morning, the newspaper had published it. Now she was very calm.
"Judy, it didn't happen to you. You can't feel my anger and sadness." I covered my face with my hands and my whole body was shaking.
"Well, I'm so scared just by seeing what happened to you. How can I not understand? But can anger solve the problem?"
I was silent.
"Do you know why you are living such a miserable life? You are too kind and weak. Sometimes people have to be tough and know how to protect their rights." Jessie said confidently.
I smiled bitterly.
"But how do you want me to defend my rights? Now that Ron has married the daughter of a big boss, it's difficult for me to reach him, let alone take revenge. "
Jessie paced in the room and finally stopped in front of me. She asked seriously
"Mary, do you know why Ron came out of the government to set up his new company?"
"Why?" I looked up at her in surprise.
After graduating from college, Jessie worked in the famous Davis Group. She was already a golden collar worker in the workplace, and her skills and social experience were much better than mine.
"Humph!" She snorted and sneered, "do you think he is tired of officialdom? No, he has his own purpose in every step. A man gives up his official position to run a company by himself, of course for interests. He abandoned his wife and daughter and hooked up with Sherry for this step."
