His lips were pressed together tightly. Since Zachary had not cooled off, Serenity slid her plate of mac and cheese to him. “Why don’t you have my supper?”

Zachary winced his face. “How can you give me something you’ve already taken a bite out of?” He was a little OCD when it came to sharing food. He was not going to eat food that had been touched. “I only took a few bites. Forget it if you mind. I’m hungry anyway.” Serenity immediately withdrew her hand and went back to digging in her mac and cheese. “Man, I’m a good cook. I can make an ordinary plate of mac and cheese taste exquisite.
