Carrie’s stand-in looked at her with anticipation. She asked, “How many young masters of the York family are still unmarried?”

After a pause, Carrie added jealously, “Well, there is one exception now: Zachary’s wife, Serenity. Her love story with Zachary is famous in Wiltspoon. Her family isn’t poor by normal standards, but compared to the York family, she is. Yet she married into the York family as the eldest lady. Zachary is the eldest young master and the head of the next generation. Serenity will become the head lady of the York family in the future. People envy her luck, but it can’t be replicated.
I heard the old lady of the York family first took a liking to Serenity after she saved her in a small accident. In gratitude, she arranged for Zachary to marry Serenity. They got married quickly and grew fond of each other.
It’s said the old lady chose the other young ladies too. So, marrying into the York family isn’t about the young masters choosing us; it’s about whether the old lady approves of us.”
The stand-in’s eyes lit up. “What if the old lady likes me? Wouldn’t I have a chance to marry into the York family too? Look at Serenity. Maybe if I help old ladies in need, I’ll get lucky like her and marry into a wealthy family.”
Carrie sneered, “Do you really think it’s that easy? Serenity’s luck is one of a kind.”
Though envious and jealous, Carrie understood that Serenity’s luck wasn’t something everyone could have. It was a rare gift from nature.

Been hanging for a few weeks now are we gonna finish the chapters as something happened to the author...
Do a search in Yahoo for Aekosa Married at First Sight they have the updated chapters. There is a lot of ads also it is an actual pdf so a little different type of reading....
There was a site that updated this story almost every day. This site no longer offers the book for free. It also seems that it translated it in different languages. It appears all the free sites for this novel have stopped being updated since this one particular site now requires a paid subscription. I suspect all the free sites got their updates from there. Good Novel owns the rights to publish the translation but they are still behind. Also their site you have to pay. It used to be that you could find multiple sites with this story but that no longer seems to be the case. The site that has a subscription has been updating it with more chapters. It is now at 3632. We may not see additional updates until Good Novel catches up to the chapter numbers....

I really hope that the author writing this novel is alive and well.... There hasn't been an update in days. I hope nothing terrible has happened...

I have done some research regarding no update on the chapters. I found that the novels chapters are updated to chapter 4744 on another website. The only issue is the names are still in Chinese making it a bit tricky to fallow. If you want to try to fallow go to jr novels dot com. Me personally plan to stay on this website and hope they get caught up with all the chapters....
