She believed she should have been the head of the family, with all the money she could ever need. Instead, she was left humiliated, used, and forced to abort a child she couldn’t keep.
Thinking about the pain of the miscarriage, Carrie’s face went pale. She hadn’t expected it to be so agonizing and terrifying with all the blood loss. She believed Dalton’s betrayal of her parents, helping Camryn, had brought her to this miserable point in life.
Camryn eyed Carrie coldly. “Carrie, have you blown through all your money again?” she asked sharply. “If you need money, just ask directly. Stop wasting time. Your parents knew what belonged to who. I’ve said before, I’ll reclaim what’s mine, and the rest goes to Trenton. And don’t forget, you’ve already taken some of what belongs to my parents!”
“Because I’m your mother’s biological daughter and your father’s adopted daughter, I have a right to inherit too. You may not have done well in school, but you should know about inheritance laws,” Carrie snapped back, though her confidence was faltering.

Thank you for the story, its going on well, however the changing of names somehow makes it difficult to follow. Even learning the new ones that you have tried to match, it is extremely difficult to follow and enjoy the drama while trying to go back to rechecking who we are talking about. The title is still Married at first sight (Serenity and Zachary) but they no longer exist in the whole picture. You created a dynamic community which I am sure everyone felt they lived and travelled with. We appreciate all the effort and your insight. I am very grateful for this novel is very captivating....
Please continue using Zachary,. Serenity,Duncan, Liberty etc . You jumped 30 updates and changed names where I'm unable to follow the story and losing interest. This is a great disservice to your loyal readers....
