Married At First Sight Chapter 3749 – Camryn smiled and said, “You spoil me too much. If you keep doing that, I’ll become lazy. Letting you take care of me all the time will wear you out.” 
Callum replied, “I won’t get tired of taking care of you. I like doing it.” He tried to offer her more snacks, but she insisted on feeding herself. 
He handed her the snacks instead. 
“Trenton may be young, but he’s strong. When our parents went to prison, it was hard for him at first, but he eventually accepted it. As long as he has the right mindset, no matter how difficult things are, he’ll come around with time. He won’t hold a grudge,” Camryn said. 
She pushed the snack box towards Callum, encouraging him to eat as well. 
“If Trenton didn’t have a good outlook, I wouldn’t have taken care of him the way I have. Despite everything I went through under his parents’ care, I couldn’t hate him. He’s always respected me as his older sister and stayed positive. That’s why I’ve tried to protect him from their influence. He’ll be the head of the family one day, and he’s set to inherit a lot. He can’t grow up sheltered—he needs to face challenges and become strong enough to handle his responsibilities.” 
In the past, Camryn had only felt a little affection for Trenton. Her feelings toward her uncle, mother, and sister were different—she resented them deeply for all the pain they caused her. Even now, she was still recovering from the harm her mother inflicted. 
What had she done to deserve such treatment? Why did her mother bring her into the world only to mistreat her? 
Camryn couldn’t believe her mother had wanted to abort her but never had the chance. Instead, her mother gave birth to her and then blamed her for everything. 
She even wondered if her family had killed her father after all that happened. 
People say children are a piece of their mother’s heart, and most mothers love their children. But Camryn’s mother was different. If she knew how to love, she wouldn’t have spoiled Carrie so much, which ultimately led to Carrie’s downfall. 
To be honest, if Carrie hadn’t caused trouble and angered Zachary, and if everything that followed hadn’t happened, Camryn might have had to wait years to reclaim her life and send her mother and uncle to prison. 
Callum spoke up, “Your brother, your call. I won’t object. If you need help, just let me know. I like Trenton—he’s a good brother-in-law. He’s smart, sensible, and doesn’t get in the way. He’s even brave enough to threaten me! He said if I don’t treat you well, he’s not scared of me being the York family’s second young master—he’ll fight me to the end and make sure you’re never hurt.” Callum accepted Trenton because of how much he cared for Camryn. 
Trenton had always seen Camryn as his older sister. 
Callum continued, “You’re thinking about your mother again, aren’t you? Don’t let it bother you. Some people just aren’t meant to be mothers. She’s biased, and nothing you do will ever change that. She’s selfish and weak, and she took all her frustrations out on you. Look how she spoiled Carrie, and yet, where did that get Carrie? Your mother doesn’t deserve to be called a mother.” 
Trenton had been sent to boarding school from a young age, spending most of his time away. He had always been independent and didn’t follow his parents’ lead. He believed in respecting Camryn as his elder sister, and he always did.
