“Yes, let’s go find Kathryn. She’s back at the company today,” Marco’s younger brothers agreed. 
Unable to enter the mansion, the three brothers left, frustrated and defeated. They returned to the company, fuming with anger. 
When they reached the Farrell Group, they saw Liberty’s car leaving the building. 
They knew Liberty had come to meet Kathryn again. 
Marco was so angry that he considered ramming his car into Liberty’s. But two bodyguard cars were escorting Liberty, and with Duncan around, they didn’t dare to take any real action against her. 
Even when Clarissa was alive, targeting Liberty wasn’t easy. Later, when Clarissa tried to harm Liberty, it was because she knew Mr. Jimenez was still alive, and she wanted to kill him. 
In the end, Clarissa failed, and both she and Mr. Dunn died. With the mother gone, their once-powerful family finally fell apart. 
Holden had no real influence, and even when Marco tried to use Holden to pressure Kathryn, it didn’t work. Kathryn didn’t show any respect toward Holden. 
Liberty, from her car, noticed Marco and his brothers but didn’t stop or acknowledge them. 
Of Clarissa’s four children, the only one Liberty cared for was Kathryn. 
She didn’t pay any attention to Holden and his three sons. 
Before coming to Jensburg, Liberty’s brother-in-law and aunt had thoroughly investigated Clarissa’s children. They gave Liberty all the information, except some details about Kathryn, to prepare her before arriving in Jensburg. 
After Liberty’s car drove away, the three brothers parked and entered the company. 
Ten minutes later, Kathryn was about to leave her office for a small meeting when the door burst open. Her secretary tried to stop the three brothers, but they pushed past him. 
The secretary, looking apologetic, said, “Miss Farrell, Vice President Janzen insisted on seeing you. I couldn’t stop them.” 
Kathryn, with a cold expression, replied, “I see. Head to the meeting room and let Mr. Ye lead the meeting for now. I’ll join in a bit.” The secretary nodded and left. 
Kathryn turned to the brothers and, without much warmth, said, “Come in.” The three brothers followed her into her office. Kathryn was still using her old office and hadn’t moved into her late mother’s. Since she had decided not to take over the family head position, there was no point in relocating. 
“Take a seat. Do you want some water?” Kathryn asked. “There are fruits on the coffee table and snacks in the tea room. Pedro got them for me as afternoon tea.” 
Without waiting for their response, she poured each of them a glass of warm water. 
The brothers weren’t interested in the fruit or snacks. 
Hearing Kathryn mention Pedro, Marco couldn’t hold back and asked, “Are you and Pedro in a relationship? He’s an orphan without parents. Can’t you find anyone else? Why choose him?” 
Marco, a man who’d seen many things in life, noticed the way Pedro looked at Kathryn—with eyes full of affection. 
Although they respected Pedro’s skills and were polite to him, they still looked down on him in their hearts. He wasn’t like Mr. Dunn, who was their mother’s trusted right-hand man and someone they had grown up with. Mr. Dunn was an elder they respected deeply. 
Pedro, on the other hand, was of their generation, even younger than them, and they didn’t hold him in the same regard.
