The Janzen brothers did try to save their position, but there wasn’t much they could do. 
Farrell Group belonged to the Farrell family, not the Janzen family. 
After Marco and his brothers left, the employees got into the elevator. They didn’t say anything out loud, but they all knew the Janzen brothers would be leaving Farrell Group sooner or later. 
Everyone was aware that decades ago, President Farrell had eliminated her sisters to climb to the top. Now, her sister’s daughter and granddaughter were back, seeking revenge and aiming to take control. 
It was clear that Farrell Group would soon have a new CEO. 
For the employees, though, this change wouldn’t matter much. No matter who took over, it would still be someone from the Farrell family. As long as Farrell Group stayed in business, a change in leadership wouldn’t affect their jobs. 
In fact, a new boss might even mean a pay raise. 
Audrey, the eldest daughter of the previous family head, was now leading the 
Stone family in Wiltspoon. One of her granddaughters had married into the York family, the most influential family in Wiltspoon, and another was about to marry into the Lewis family. The Stones, Yorks, and Lewis families were all very powerful. 
Now that Liberty was taking over Farrell Group, with the support of these wealthy families, the company’s future seemed even brighter. 
The business was thriving, so there was no worry about layoffs. They might even hire more people soon. 
Everyone hoped that with the new boss, more jobs would open up so they could recommend friends and family to join the company. 
In the current tough job market, finding a secure and promising position wasn’t easy. 
Shortly after, three cars drove out of the Farrell Group building and headed straight for the hospital. 
Kathryn watched from her office window as the cars left. Her face was emotionless, but she knew the brothers were probably going to see their father. 
Holden thought bringing the brothers in would pressure her. 
How naive. 
If she wasn’t intimidated by Holden, she certainly wasn’t going to bow down to her brothers. 
She had even shown her brothers the right path to take, but they refused to listen. What else could she do? 
In this situation, even if she took control of the Farrell family, her cousins would likely take it back soon. Why waste her time and energy? 
Besides, it was never really hers to begin with. 
She’d always said, if it wasn’t hers, she wouldn’t take it, but if it was hers, no one could take it from her. 
Ten minutes later, the three brothers walked into Holden’s hospital room. 
Holden was furious, scolding the nanny who was looking after him. 
The nanny seemed upset but didn’t say a word. She stood there quietly, letting him vent his anger. 
“Dad, what’s wrong? Your injury isn’t fully healed, don’t get so worked up,” Marco said, trying to calm his father down. 
The nanny explained, “Sir, I gave your dad an apple after peeling it, but he didn’t hold it properly, and it fell. He blamed me for not waiting until he had a firm grip before letting go. I picked it up, washed it, and offered to peel another one, but he didn’t want it.” 
She looked hurt, clearly feeling unjustly blamed. 
It was such a minor issue. 
Holden, however, was furious enough to curse as if it was a major offense. 
“It’s okay, you can take a break. We’ll talk to Dad,” Marco said gently to the nanny. “He’s been through a lot, with Mom’s passing, and he’s not in the best mood right now. Please be patient with him.” 
As he spoke, Marco pulled out his wallet and handed the nanny a small stack of cash, probably around a few hundred to a thousand dollars, as a gesture of appreciation.
