“Thank you, Baby and Belle.” 
River smiled. “But there’s no need to borrow money from you. Uncle River can earn enough to get married on his own. I’m really happy that you’re willing to help, though. Uncle River loves you both very much.” 
Maverick said seriously, “But we want you to get a seventh aunt soon. Uncle River, let us lend you money to help you get married. You can pay us back slowly, whenever you earn more. We won’t charge you interest, and we won’t bug you about it. If my sister and I don’t have enough, we can ask Cairo and the others.” 
River laughed. “You even know about interest on loans, huh?” 
Maverick really was a York. Even at such a young age, he understood these things. 
“How impressive is your Uncle River, huh?” 
He gently patted Maverick’s head. “You can lend me money to get married, but Uncle River doesn’t have anyone in mind yet. Marriage is a big deal—it’s a lifelong decision. I have to find someone I truly like.” 
“Auntie.” 
Belle suddenly pointed at Romina, who was walking ahead with Serenity, and said, “Auntie.” 
River immediately understood. 
Belle meant Romina—she was suggesting he marry her. 
River couldn’t help but find it funny. Belle didn’t know anything about relationships, but she was already trying to play matchmaker. 
“Sis, Aunt Romina’s not the right one,” Maverick told Belle. “She’s too fierce. She’d beat Uncle River up.” 
River was speechless. 
That slap from Romina had really done damage. His nephew now thought he couldn’t stand up to Romina. He’d definitely have to settle the score with her. She needed to take responsibility for this! 
Meanwhile, Romina took Serenity on a stroll through a few streets near the hotel and ended up buying a ton of stuff—new clothes, toys, and all kinds of snacks for the kids. She really liked the two little ones. 
Serenity tried to stop her, but Romina wouldn’t listen. She insisted that she was buying these things for the kids, not Serenity, and told her not to interfere. 
Serenity had no choice but to accept her kindness. 
While they were walking, they stopped into a men’s clothing store. 
Serenity was thinking about getting a couple of new outfits for her husband. That narrowminded man needed a little coaxing sometimes. 
Zachary had plenty of clothes. Before their marriage, he’d get custom-made suits every season from a personal designer. 
After they got married, Serenity became the one to shop for his clothes. 
If she ever forgot to get him something new, he’d keep wearing the first batch of clothes she’d bought. To avoid having the CEO of York Corporation walking around in old outfits, she started picking up new ones for him every now and then. 
There were times when she bought clothes just for the kids and not for him—and he’d actually get jealous! He’d pout all day until she bought him something, too. 
After that, Serenity made sure that every time she got something for the kids, she picked up a few pieces for Zachary as well. No way she was letting a grown man be jealous of his own children. 
While Serenity browsed through clothes for her husband, Romina was also checking out men’s suits. 
She picked up one and glanced at River, who was holding Belle. 
River looked like he was focused on the kids, but he was secretly watching Romina’s every move. When she looked at him with that suit in hand, he felt a little flutter in his chest. 
Was Romina going to buy clothes for him? 
At that moment, River completely forgot that they were sworn enemies.
