Cecelia was taken aback. When she recovered from the shock, she instantly began to flee. The dog closely chased after her when she ran deeper into the yard. She knew she must figure out a way to drive it away.

However, the wolfdog was loyally guarding the courtyard. When it saw an intruder, it desperately barked and chased after her as if intending to bite her to pieces.

Cecelia ran in the garden for a long time but failed to get rid of the dog. Unexpectedly, she tripped over a branch and fell to the ground.

An older man was standing not far away. His white hair was messy, almost covering his eyes and half his face. He had a long white beard. And his clothes were shabby. He stroked the wolfdog's head as if comforting his best friend.

Hearing her voice, Jesper raised his head to look at her and coldly asked, "Who are you? Why did you break in? Get out!"

Jesper did not like others setting foot here. He was persistently guarding this garden.

Jesper grabbed the collar around Puppy's neck, scolded it, led it back to the kennel, and tied it to the chain.
