Married by Mistake: Mr. Whitman’s Sinner Wife novel Chapter 1501

Chapter 1501

When Madeline heard this, she could expect what Naomi was going to do next.

However, one of her hands was holding Eloise’s hand and she did not want to push Eloise away. As such, when she was about to hide her face from Naomi, Naomi quickly pretended to get close to her to whisper in her ear when in reality, she did it to rip the mask from her face.

Her face was wet from the lake water. Aside from the liveliness and the beauty of her eyes, the hideous scars that were left on her face after she was burned entered everyone’s vision.

“Damn! What’s wrong with her face?”

“No wonder she’s wearing a mask.”

“My gosh, how sad. What happened to her face? It looks like she has been burned.”

“Tsk, tsk, how terrifying. Stop looking.”

The passersby exclaimed from shock. Some even turned their heads to avoid looking at Madeline’s face.

Others had been recording the entire time, so they captured this scene and uploaded it online.

When Naomi heard the reactions of the people around her, she was delighted. The corner of her lips even started to curl into a smirk.

“How is it? Are you devastated after seeing them laugh at you?” Naomi lowered her voice and mocked. “Hmph, Eveline, tell them you’re Eveline Montgomery if you dare. Tell Jeremy and the rest of the world how shameful you look now. However, you’d best be prepared to feel even more devastated when he abandons you!”

Madeline clenched her fists and listened to Naomi’s mockings. At the same time, she kept hearing people around her saying that she was ugly and her face was horrifying.

She stayed silent for two seconds. Then, she calmly turned around and walked behind Eloise to push her wheelchair.

Madeline started calmly walking forward despite the crowd’s criticizing gaze.

Naomi was thrilled when she saw Madeline’s straightened back.

‘Eveline, I know you’re forcing yourself.

‘However, despite how strong you are, you won’t be completely unaffected.
