Married by Mistake: Mr. Whitman’s Sinner Wife novel Chapter 1508

Chapter 1508

When he saw Madeline’s bustling figure, he did not plan to stop her and instead turned around to stand in front of the window again to look at the front door of the manor. Then, he turned on his Bluetooth earphones to listen to what was happening at the door.

Madeline went out of the door after a while. She pretended to not see Jeremy but Jeremy stopped his car next to her.

She looked over in fake surprise and pretended to be shocked. “Mr. Whitman? Why are you here?”

Jeremy did not say anything. Instead, he got out of the car and opened the passenger seat for Madeline. “Get in.”

“…” Madeline hesitated for a few seconds and did not know what to do. She looked at the French window where she was at just now with the corner of her eyes before getting into the car.

The more familiar she used to be with this passenger seat, the more touched she felt now.

She looked cautiously at the rear-view mirror. When she made sure no one was following her, she let out a sigh of relief in secret.

She kept feeling that Carter had asked someone to watch her every move.

He could always know immediately the moment something happened to her.

“Why did you go into the manor just now?” Jeremy asked curiously.

The man had indeed asked this question.

Madeline did not think much about the answer. She had already made up an answer before she came out.

“I don’t think I can hide from you anymore, Mr. Whitman.” She sighed apologetically.

Jeremy felt his heart skip a beat. Then, he looked at Madeline who had her head lowered sadly.

When he was about to ask, he heard Madeline answering, “Actually, I’m working part-time here as well. I want to make more money to treat my face. However, don’t you worry, Mr. Whitman. I’ll quit my job over here so I can concentrate my thoughts and efforts in taking care of Mrs. Montgomery.”

After Jeremy heard that, he tightened his grip on the steering wheel. “If you need money, I can lend you some.”
