“You… Eveline, why are you here?” Bewildered, Fabian stared at Madeline. He did not know how long she had been standing there.
Madeline looked at Fabian with a serious look on her face. “Who was that on the phone? What happened to Lily? How do you know Carter Gray?”
Madeline questioned and walked up to Fabian.
The flame in her gaze glinted piercingly, shooting a terrifying power that would make people’s hearts shiver.
“Fabian, tell me, where is my daughter? How do you know Carter Gray?”
When Fabian heard what Madeline said, he stood there dazedly in silence. His eyebrows were tightly furrowed, but he did not speak.
Upon seeing Fabian in such a state, suddenly,
Madeline gradually came to a realization.
“I understand now. I finally understand.” As realization emerged in Madeline’s mind, her expression grew more and more serious. “It’s Carter, isn’t it? He’s the one who’s inciting disharmony between us. That’s why you’ve suddenly been acting like this toward me and Jeremy.”
When he heard what Madeline said, Fabian denied it.
“This has nothing to do with him! ”
Fabian quickly lifted his eyes and looked straight into Madeline’s eyes. His gaze suddenly changed.
“Isn’t it true that Jeremy went undercover to stay by Lana so he could collect evidence? Isn’t it true
that he used my trust in you to successfully destroy my brother’s company and indirectly prompted Ryan to kill Lana?”
Listening to Fabian’s accusations which brimmed with rancor, Made line calmly listened and spoke calmly.
“ I don’t want to repeat this, Fabian, I know you’re not irrational, and I also know that in your heart, you know exactly how your brother and sister died.
“ It doesn’t matter if you hate me or if you want to seek revenge against me. That’s a different matter. I just want to know my daughter’s situation now. ”
