Jeremy lowered his gaze and saw the little princess looking at him with a pure smile as she blinked her big eyes.

Jeremy’s heart seemed to melt immediately. He sat Lillian onto his lap and then stroked her little head lovingly and tenderly.

“Lily, do you have something you want to tell me?” Lillian blinked her innocent eyes and handed Jeremy a piece of paper in her little hand.

Jeremy then took it in his hand and opened the note.

On it, there was a word written by Lillian. Although the word was not beautifully written, it was neat.

Jeremy clearly saw one word. “Fab.”

Madeline and Jeremy immediately understood what Lillian was trying to say. The child wanted to see Fabian.

“Jeremy.” Madeline looked at  the man with a frown. “Why don’t we let Lily make the decision?”

“Let Lily make the decision?” Jeremy did not understand Madeline for a while, but gradually, he figured it out.

“Linnie, do you want Lily to decide if she should go or stay?”

Madeline smiled and nodded. “Yeah.”

“Lily is still so young, what does she know?” Jeremy obviously did not agree.

“Even though Lily is still very young, she has feelings.” Madeline tried to convince Jeremy. “ Jeremy, you want to thank Fabian in person anyway, so we might as well take Lily to see Fabian before we go back. Do you think that’s okay?”

Jeremy thought for a few seconds before replying, “

I’ll do what you say.”
