“There are so many weird people in this world. How could she come to our house to kill herself? Was she trying to frame Eveline and Jeremy?“
Eloise sighed after she heard that from the side. “ Sigh, my Eveline is so unfortunate. Trouble hasn’t stopped even after so long.“
When Madeline heard Eloise’s words that were filled with worry, she smiled and walked over.
“Mom, don’t worry about me. I’m fine now.“
Eloise lifted her eyes to look over. “Eveline, you’re back! What’s the situation now? Is that woman’s life in danger?“
Madeline shook her head. “The doctor called Jeremy on our way back. They said she’s not in any danger.“
“That’s good.“ Eloise and Karen let out sighs of relief.
Even though Hannah did a lot of things that
annoyed them, her life was important too. They did not wish for something bad to happen to her.
Karen asked the servants to clean the toilet and asked them to watch the door so that outsiders would not come in again.
After the kerfuffle with Hannah, Madeline felt bad that she made her parents worry about her again.
Madeline thought about it for the whole night and finally, she decided to have a serious talk with Hannah.
If Hannah was really just pretending, then she would have a goal. Madeline did not want to beat about the bush anymore.
When she woke up the next day, she received an anonymous call.
Madeline subconsciously thought that this call was related to Hannah. After she picked it up, it was indeed so.
It was from the hospital. They said Hannah had woken up and she kept asking for her sister in a delirious state. They did not know who Hannah’s sister was but they heard Hannah repeating her phone number.
After she understood what was going on, Madeline washed up and went to the hospital.
When she was in the hospital ward, the nurse was attaching an IV drip to Hannah. Hannah looked a little lifeless at this moment.
When Madeline walked over slowly, she called out to Hannah. “Hannah.“
