Suddenly, she heard her son’s voice behind her. Madeline stopped abruptly as she was approaching the flower bed.
Jackson hurried to Madeline’s side and grabbed Madeline’s hand.
“Mommy, it’s the evil woman.“ Jackson could see Hannah’s face clearly and remembered that she was the evil woman who threatened Madeline with a fruit knife in the car.
Madeline had also recognized that this woman was Hannah now.
Hannah escaped from the hospital and actually came to Old Whitman Manor. Madeline figured that Hannah was here to find her.
She did not want to care about Hannah anymore, but it was winter and it was still snowing at the moment. If Hannah continued to lie beside the flower bed, she would definitely catch a cold. She might even freeze to death.
“Mom, leave her alone. I think this woman will suddenly attack you like last time.“ Jackson reminded Madeline and took her hand tightly.
“I know. I’ll be very careful, “ Madeline said and put her coat over Hannah’s body. “I’ll not waste my time with her. I ‘ll ask the others to come and tell her to leave.“
“Okay.“ Jackson nodded his head in satisfaction.
Although the teacher taught them to help people in need, this evil woman did not look like someone who really needed help.
After Madeline brought Jackson into the car, she drove the car into the parking garage of the old manor. Then, she told the servants about Hannah and asked them to tell her to leave. Whether she was acting or not, she should at least get up from the snow.
When she saw the servants rushing out, Madeline took her son’s hand and returned to the house.
Just now, Karen saw what had happened outside
from the window. When she saw Madeline walking in, she curiously asked about it.
After she found out what was happening, Karen’s face fell instantly.
