Married by Mistake: Mr. Whitman’s Sinner Wife novel Chapter 2153

Ava’s mother was feeling remorseful. She regretted leaving her young and ignorant daughter behind for her career and her so-called dream when she was at the prime of her life.

Madeline and Jeremy went back home after they sent Ava’s mother back to the hotel.

Madeline then got back to the passenger seat.

Jeremy asked like he was trying to be nosy, "Is she really Ava’s mother?"

"Yeah, don’t you think Ava looks like her mother?" Madeline asked with a smile.

Jeremy thought for a while, looking pensive.

Then, he said a little arrogantly, "I only think that our three babies look like you and me."

"You’re being sweet right now but I never heard you saying that Jack looks like me back then." Madeline casually teased him.

Jeremy thought Madeline wanted to grumble about what he did back then, so he immediately reached over to hold Madeline’s hand.

"Linnie, I won’t make the same mistakes again."

"I didn’t say anything, dummy." Madeline patted Jeremy’s hand.

"Those things happened in the past, so why bother bringing them up? What I’m worried about the most right now are Ava and Dan."

"Even though I don’t like Daniel that much, I won’t deny that he’s a responsible and good man."

Madeline nodded lightly in agreement, but at the same time, she displayed some worries.

"Sometimes when you want to concentrate your thoughts and efforts on yourselves, you still can’t avoid those people who are looking to destroy you."

"Linnie, who are you referring to?" Jeremy asked curiously.

After Madeline went back, Ava tossed and turned the whole night, unable to fall asleep.

Hence, she decided to turn on her computer to do a bit of work so that it would get her mind off the matter. She finally felt sleepy when the sky was turning bright.

However, when she was about to fall asleep, the doorbell rang.

Ava pulled the blanket over her head to ignore the doorbell, but it kept ringing. She could only wrap herself with a random blanket and walk to the door while looking extremely haggard. She forgot to take a look at who was ringing the doorbell from the peephole.

The moment she opened the door, she saw Naya, who was dressed and groomed immaculately.

The woman was smiling at her.

Naya looked strangely at Ava whose hair was messy and complexion was looking off-colored.

Then, she said in a seemingly friendly manner, "Ava, were you still sleeping? Did I disturb you?"
