"Ava, what are you doing? Why are you standing here in a daze?" Ava came back to her senses after being in a trance.
"Maisie, I just saw something shocking on Laura's desk." Maisie blinked suspiciously.
"Something shocking? What is it?"
"The design I deleted earlier," Ava answered decisively and looked up at the office in front of her.
"Ava, did you just say that you saw your deleted design on Laura’s desk? What does that mean?" Maisie frowned inexplicably.
Then, she raised her hand and scratched her ear lightly.
Just as she asked that question, Bill's office door opened.
Laura followed behind Bill with a faint smile on her face.
"My fellow colleagues, Laura has just handled an incredible project for the company, so to celebrate this event, the boss will hold a banquet in the largest restaurant in Glendale tonight. All employees of the design department are invited to have a feast! Moreover, the bonus you’ll receive at the end of the year will also be a grand amount."
"Wow, the largest restaurant in Glendale! We’ll be getting a year-end bonus too!"
Some of the employees were excited.
"Laura is so amazing! She’s our lucky star!"
"Mr.Rogers’ projects aren’t easy.I didn't expect that Laura would be able to handle the order that Ava couldn't handle after only three months of working here. How amazing!"
Ava heard what other colleagues said, and her expression was indifferent. She did not care too much about their words.
What she cared about was the design she had just seen.
Just as she was thinking about it, Bill walked up to Ava and said with a concerned look, "Ava, you've been in a bad state recently.I've already told the boss to allow you to take a few more days of annual leave. You don’t need to come to dinner tonight either.Go home and have a good rest.Laura will be responsible for your work for the time being."
When Ava heard what Bill said, it vaguely seemed that he wanted to let Laura take over her work.
Laura also came over at this moment and smiled at Ava.
"Ava, you should go back and have a good rest. You can rest assured that I'll] handle the work properly."
