“Classmates?” Ava was surprised again.

The man nodded, his gentle eyes never once moving away from Ava's face. However, his expression started to look a little serious.

“Your mother and I knew each other many years ago, but I left Glendale to study medicine. It’s been more than ten years since I left. Ava wondered. When a thought appeared in her head, Raegan came over.

“Dinner is ready. Wash your hands and come to the dining room.”

Raegan glanced at the man calmly before turning to Ava.

“Ava, what would you like to drink? I'll get it for you.”

“Im fine with anything. Dr. Long, what would you like to drink?”

“I’ll have whatever you ladies have.” The man smiled slightly and looked at Raegan.

Ava caught sight of Raegan and the man looking at each other. She kept feeling as though there was something odd in her heart, but she could not put a finger on what it was.

She did not think anymore and followed the man and Raegan to the dining room for dinner. °
