Married by Mistake: Mr. Whitman’s Sinner Wife novel Chapter 2385

Chapter 2385

“If it isn’t because I’m rushing to meet my friends for dinner, I would’ve chosen to call the police and let them deal with you. But I'm in a hurry and don't want to waste time with you. Mrs. Mendez, you’re an adult and should know what’s right and what’s wrong. Don’t repeat your precious daughter’s mistakes.” After Ava's solemn reminder, she turned her head to look at Tom apologetically. “I'm sorry, Mr. Lowe. Due to my personal affairs, I got you involved too. I'm really sorry.”

“You’re too polite. You’re an employee of my company, and someone is here to make trouble. It’s only right that I help you.” Tom's attitude was very serious. As he said that, he raised his dark eyes and looked at his employees.

“Go home now so that you won’t get hurt all because you chose to be nosy.” Tom glanced at Naya's mother when he said this.

Everyone understood what Tom meant, and they did think that Naya's mother could be dangerous. They did not want the same thing to happen to them as that employee who had their milk tea snatched.

The employees left one after another. When Naya's mother saw that there were no passersby to incite and knew that it would be unfavorable for her to continue to deal with Ava, she left angrily after saying some harsh words.

Ava did not want to stay too long either. She sent a message back to Madeline and was about to leave when Tom held her back.

“You're soaked all over. Why don't you change your clothes before leaving? It's still raining outside. You'll catch a cold if you go out like this.”
“Thank you for your concern, Mr. Lowe. My friend is waiting for me downstairs.”

Tom nodded to show his understanding. Before Ava left, he decisively took off his suit jacket and put it on Ava.

Ava was stunned for a moment. When she was about to reject, Tom smiled and said, “Please don’t mind this, and don’t overthink it either. The most important thing right now is to stop yourself from catching a cold. Your friend is still waiting for you downstairs, so you should go down first. Don't make your friend wait too long.”

Now that Tom had said so, it was not easy for Ava to reject him.

“Thank you, Mr. Lowe. I’ll return this to you in two days.”
