Aurelia suddenly looked up and saw Leon in the jewelry store behind the glass wall. Her heart dropped. 

A woman accompanied him, and they were holding hands.

Her hands tremble involuntarily, causing her fork and knife to clatter onto the plate. 

Aurelia had seen plenty of intimidating people, but Leon was the first man she found genuinely terrifying. 

He appeared tall and handsome, wearing a rather gentlemanly smile. However, his eyes were filled with darkness. 

He almost looked venomous, and she felt like she would be killed with a single misstep. 

Aurelia felt breathless under his gaze. A hand suddenly extended before her, offering her a glass of 

water. 

“Have some water,” Leslie said. 

“Sorry, I don’t know why this is happening,” Aurelia said uneasily. 

Being stared at by Leon made her feel like she was prey. 

“I ordered dessert. Try some,” Leslie continued. 

Aurelia was puzzled. 

“Are we still staying?”

He thought it was disgusting.

A moment later, she saw Leon put on all the necklaces and bracelets she had just been eyeing onto the woman beside him. 

The woman was moved to tears, but Leon kept glancing at Aurelia. He even gestured toward her neck with his hand as if to say she would look good wearing those pieces. 

Aurelia felt a chill down her spine and quickly stuffed a bite of dessert into her mouth to calm herself.
