Chapter 824
Theresa was here to give him acupuncture.
Dick listened to her words, nodding. “Okay.”
The room was quiet. Theresa was busy with acupuncture and occasionally chatted with Dick.
Charlie came up from downstairs and stood at the door, looking at the two people. Dick’s room was large. The two were at the window, looking very close from a distance. Remembering the time when Theresa performed acupuncture on him, Charlie felt uncomfortable. He didn’t know why he was here! He even wanted to go in there and stop them. But he knew Theresa would definitely be angry.
“Mr. Calsis.” Charlie was looking carefully when Rawlins’s voice rang out behind me. Charlie turned around and looked at Rawlins.
Rawlins was Dick’s confidant, and was very loyal to Dick, so when seeing Charlie, he would not be too polite to him, but would say something harsh to him.
“What are you doing here? You don’t seem to be on such good terms with my boss, do you?”
Charlie raised his eyebrows. “I sent Theresa here. Is there a problem?”
Rawlins glanced at Theresa and Dick inside and said, “Please have a seat downstairs. They are busy. Don’t disturb them, okay?”
Charlie looked at Rawlins with some displeasure. “How can you see that I’m disturbing them? Besides, who are you to talk to me?”
Rawlins said, “Shall I ask Dr. Cameron out?”
Hearing this, Charlie froze for a moment and turned away. He sat down on the sofa and the servant got tea for him. Of course Charlie would not drink it. Who knows if they might have poisoned him? He didn’t drink and Rawlins didn’t care.
