“Mrs. Moore, Mr. Kennedy really cares about you.” Seeing she was silent, Rebecca was afraid that she would overthink or have Kennedy misunderstood, she explained for Kennedy.
Hearing that, Charlotte recovered and looked at Rebecca in front of her. She smiled and said, “You are good at speaking for him.”
Rebecca blushed, as if embarrassed.
“You are making fun of me. I didn't mean to speak for Mr. Kennedy, I am telling the truth. And you know that, right?”
Yes, Charlotte knew that.
It was not that only she loved him, Kennedy also had the same feeling for her.
That was enough.
With that in mind, she smiled.
Since Kennedy was worried about her, she would stay in the villa during this time to wait for good news. Just stay out of the outside world.
She thought she could live peacefully and got news from Kennedy. She waited every day. She was anxious at the first place, but she became used to it in the end. She looked forward to having news from Kennedy every night.
But if he did not mention it when he was back, she would not ask about it.
She thought he would not hide it from her if he got the news.
Finally she got it one day.
But it was not from Kennedy, but Diana.
Diana texted her and asked her out.
Out of no reason, Diana’s message made her feel depressed. She had a bad feeling as if something bad would happen.
It had been years since they were friends. After last time, she thought they would not meet again.
So she replied, “I have nothing to say to you.”
“Charlotte, it is the last time that we meet, will you still refuse to meet me?”
The last time to meet?
She was surprised to see that.
“What do you mean?”
“Will you meet me or not?” Diana’s attitude was tough and had to meet her.
Charlotte’s heart was soft to Diana. Diana had helped her with a lot, and she could not hate her. Not her words were weird, as if she would commit suicide.
What if she would do so?
If she committed suicide, Charlotte would live in regret for a lifetime.
“Tell me the time and location.”
Finally, Charlotte agreed to meet her. After a long while, Diana sent her the address.
Charlotte found it was a hotel. Frowning, she felt unease.
She put away the phone and said to Rebecca, “Can I go out today?”
Rebecca was stunned and then said with a smile, “You have the same thought with Mr. Kennedy. He had allowed to go and in from this morning. You are free to go and in now. He had prepared a driver for you.”
