Marry Me Twice (Kennedy and Charlotte) novel Chapter 300

Yanis was excited, but Charlotte was worried.

She did not want to go the party with Manfred. Originally Kennedy had misunderstood her relationship with Manfred. If she went there with Manfred, Kennedy would misunderstand her again.

Thinking of this, Charlotte was even more depressed.

Manfred said, “I know what you are worried about. We will get the information and to there. I will send you there, on the car, you read the information sorted out by my secretary. And I will find a safe place to drop you before you arrive. There will be no misunderstanding.”

Charlotte, “......”

Shocked, she looked up at Manfred and felt guilty.

She was afraid that Kennedy would misunderstand her, so she wanted to refuse to go with Manfred.

But Manfred had arranged everything for her and had said out her thought.

For an instant, Charlotte blushed and felt ashamed.

There were many moments when she felt particularly guilty in the face of Manfred.

“So, are you reassured?” Asked Manfred.

Charlotte was speechless. She bit her lower lip and lowered her eyes. She did not answer.

Yanis probably had felt her mood and spoke for Charlotte, “Thank for, Mr. Manfred. You are nice and considerable for your family.”

Manfred glanced at her and then took back his eyes indifferently.

The word “family” made him unhappy.

He didn't want to be Charlotte's family. If she were a family member, he wished her to be his wife.

He pressed his thin lips together and glanced at his wristwatch again. “It should be very soon. There's still time. Don’t worry.”

“Uh-huh.”

About half an hour later, Manfred’s secretary finally arrived. She went to Manfred and smiled at Charlotte. Charlotte saw her before. She had come to advise her to get back to her position.

Now Charlotte felt embarrassed to meet her.

“Sorry that I have kept you waiting. There is a lot of information, so it took me a long time to sort it out.”

“Thank you.” Charlotte stood up and greeted her with a smile.

The secretary looked at her and then mischievously winked eyes, “Since I have sent you the information, I will not bother you. Mr. Manfred, I gotta go. My mother is still waiting for me to have dinner.”

“Ok, be careful on the way.”

After the secretary left, Charlotte said, “Thank you and your secretary.”

“No thanks. Is that your dress in that box on the table? You'll have to dress up for the party, so get the documents and let’s go.”

Manfred took the car keys and stood up. Charlotte had to stand up with that document and that box.
