On the second day,

Because Alice wanted to visit her new company, she got up early.

Zain was going to work and Jack wanted to go with him. Jack woke up very early. Alice was woken up by him and couldn’t fall asleep again. Then they got up together.

After getting the washing up, they went downstairs to have breakfast. Then Jack left with Zain.

When they started to leave, Zain said to Alice, “It’s still early. You can take a nap. Megan will come to pick you up later.”

Hearing his words, Alice was surprised and asked, “Can I go to sleep now? I’m afraid that Megan will come here as soon as I fall asleep.”

Zain smiled at her words. Then he said, “Don’t worry. She has works to do in the morning.”

Alice realized that Megan was busy this morning.

Now she could go back and have a good rest.

Alice went upstairs to come back to sleep. When she passed by a room, the door was suddenly opened and someone stretched out a hand and grasped her.

Alice was startled at first. Then she became surprised when she saw it was Alice.

She asked, “Yanis?”

“Do you still remember me? I thought that you have forgotten me these days.”

Yanis complained to her with her arms crossed. Her hair was in a mess and she looked terrible.

“What’s wrong with you? You’ve told me that you want to rest in the room because you’re sick. How can I bother you?”

“You! You know that it is my excuse. Now you tease me!”

Alice raised an eyebrow and smiled. She said, “Take it easy. I won’t forget you. We need to visit a company today. Just get back to get dressed, then we can eat breakfast together.”

“Breakfast? Zain…”

“Zain has gone to work. Don’t worry.”

Yanis stretched out her hand and held Alice’s arm instantly. She said, “Alice, you’re so kind to me. Now I’ll go to change my clothes.”

“I’m not in a hurry. Remember to have breakfast when you go downstairs. We’ll go to the company later. I need to take a rest now.”

She covered her mouth and yawned. Then she went back to her room.

When she woke up, it was near noon. She checked the time and wondered why Megan still hadn’t come.

Alice went downstairs to see if Megan was there. Then she found that Megan was talking with Yanis happily.

They looked at her when they heard the footsteps.

“Megan, when did you arrive here? Why don’t you let the maid wake me?”

Megan smiled and said gently, “Miss Alice, I have just been here for ten minutes.”

“Really?” Alice turned to look at Yanis. She nodded and said, “Yes. But Megan wouldn’t blame you if you overslept.”

Alice was speechless.

She was a little embarrassed. Then she cleared her throat and said, “It’s noon now. Shall we have lunch before going to the company?”

“Okay.” Megan smiled and nodded. Yanis also agreed with her.

When they got in the car, Yanis asked with her bag in her hand, “Which company are we going to?”

Megan said, “What? Haven’t Miss Alice told you that she will have a company?”
