After Alice's car rushed out, she continued to accelerate, for fear that the group of people behind would catch up again.
“Slow down. There's a traffic light ahead.”
“And then what?”
“Then stop and wait for me at the intersection.”
Alice did as he said, until the car stopped, she was relieved. She subconsciously raised her hand to wipe the cold sweat from her forehead.
After raising her hand, she found her palm had been wet.
She paused, and then gave a pale smile.
She really had no guts. Such a small thing scared her like that. If it were not Kennedy, what should she do?
Thinking of that, Alice closed her eyes and wiped away the cold sweat before her forehead.
Someone was knocking on her window, because she was still scared, so when Alice heard it, she was frightened.
She turned over, saw the figure standing outside the window and then she felt relieved.
She unlocked the door. Kennedy opened the door and bent over, staring at her.
“You are not coming out?”
Seeing Kennedy so close at hand, Alice's lips moved. “I...”
“Are you frightened?” Kennedy narrowed his eyes, only to see her hair had been wet with sweat, stick on her forehead.
Seeing that, Kennedy wiped her sweat away.
“Come out for a breath.”
He raised his hand to hold the arm of Alice. Alice, in his help, slowly came out. Her legs were soft, and when she got off, she unexpectedly got into the arms of Kennedy.
Feeling her sweet fragrance, Kennedy subconsciously embraced her waist, and tookd her to the nearby coffee shop.
Alice lost her strength, so she was carried into the coffee shop by Kennedy. The air outside was much fresher than that in the car. Kennedy asked the waiter for a cup of warm milk and told Alice to drink it.
Probably frightened, her hands shook slightly as she held the cup.
“Drink slowly.” Kennedy stretch out a hand, help her holding the cup, while gently patting back with a hand, like coaxing a kid.
The people in the coffee shop could not help but look at them curiously.
Alice was really scared, and after drinking the milk, her consciousness slowly came back to her. She looked around, closed her eyes and said, “There are too many people here. I want to go back.”
Kennedy pressed his thin lips lightly and then nodded.
“Ok.”
The next second, he had her in his arms and out of the coffee shop.
Kennedy ignored the people around, put her into the passenger seat, and fasten the seat belt for her.
In the end, Kennedy could not help saying, “Now feel the danger I said? Dare you to go out alone again?”
Alice, “...”
He went around to the other side of the car, and Alice leaned weakly against the back of the chair and closed her eyes.
She had been uncertain before, but now that Kennedy was by her side, she felt instantly reassured.
Even if there was more danger, as long as Kennedy was there, he would protect her from being harm.
He was a real love-hate guy.
She did not want to be in contact with him again, but it happened that he always appeared in her various needs, occupying her heart and her world.
At a time like that, she had no reason to refuse.
And she could not say no.
The car had been smoothly driven out. Alice felt into sleep finally.
Alice had a nightmare.
In the dream, as in the daytime, she was being followed in her car, and she panicked and drove around the city in various directions, trying to lose her pursuers.
