Knowing that the man had once owned her, and that she had borne his child, Kennedy was insanely jealous.

But he still wanted her.

He had waited for five years and had to keep her aside in any way.

Nathan's voice once again was heard in the earphone. Kennedy came back to himself and lifted his eyes which were as dark as abyss.

“Mr. Kennedy, should I investigate the five years of Mrs. Moore......”

“No.” Kennedy duly interrupted him and refused, “That's all. Do what I told you to do.”

With that, he ended the video call directly.

Looking at the laptop screen, Kennedy thought of the shoes he saw on the shelf before.

He had never seen that child.

He wondered what the child would look like.

If it was a boy, would he look like her ex-husband?

At the thought that it stood in front of him with a face similar as Alice ex-husband, Kennedy clenched his fists tightly.

Damn it!

He was still insanely jealous.

Why could not this woman belong to him from the beginning to the end?

When Alice woke up, it was already the second day. The room was quiet. She lay on the bed blinking her eyes and waited for a long time, but no one came.
