Downstairs
Kennedy slowly put food into his bowl, gracefully, like a well-educated aristocrat. There was a faint smile on his lips as he ate, and he was satisfied to think that what the woman took was vitamins.
She let her guard down, stopped thinking about the pill, and if she just took the vitamin, she would soon be pregnant with his child.
Well, so that she had a child from a previous marriage? He would be the father of Alice’s future children.
He smiled at the thought of having a cute daughter and a handsome boy to call him Daddy.
He wanted Alice to only have him.
In the afternoon, Kennedy offered to take her to the supermarket. At the beginning, Alice wanted to refuse, but at the thought that she had been bed for two days, she thought she'd better go out for a walk, or she really wouldn't be able to get out of bed if it continued like that.
Alice and Kennedy walked out together from the community, attracting the attention of many people along the way. They met the fat man in the supermarket who they had met in the elevator before.
There was a tall and beautiful woman next to him.
She was a middle-aged woman who still was charming. She looked a good match to the fat man.
"You come with your husband?"
The fat man was enthusiastic to Alice. After greeting with Alice, he looked at Kennedy with a smile, but Kennedy did not want to talk to him.
The woman next to him reached out and gave him a gentle pinch. "What are you doing? Who are you greeting with?"
"The couple I met in the elevator."
The woman looked toward Alice and Kennedy with doubts.
"You mean that couple? They live in our community?"
"Yes, yes, this is my wife."
When talking about his wife, the man got blushed and took a look at his face. The woman mercilessly stared at him.
The fat man blushed and rubbed his hands nervously.
Alice was embarrassed to see that, subconsciously took a look at Kennedy and felt she would never get along with Kennedy like them.
"Please don’t mind. He's not good at speaking good words. When I was first with him, he didn't flatter me at all. I would not be with him if he were not honest.”
His wife came forward to pull Alice's hand, "What do you want to buy? Let's go in together. We've just arrived."
Alice had been her room for two days and had no one to talk to. Being invited, she was happy, but she took a look at Kennedy and wondered if he would agree, After all, they were all freaked out by the stalking incident, and who knows what might happen at the supermarket?
