Chapter 10: Orchestrating the Cyberbullying
Half an hour later, the ink–stained Sonya appeared on the VIP floor. Ignoring the stares of doctors and nurses, she went straight to Seraphina’s room.
She found Seraphina in bed, scrolling through her phone and laughing at something.
Sonya strode in. Seraphina looked up, her smile faltering.
“Sonya, what…”
Without a word, Sonya hurled the bottle of ink.
Julian, who was sitting beside the bed, rushed over to take the brunt of the ink. The black liquid. stained his white shirt.
“Oh!” Seraphina gasped.
Julian turned, furious. “What’s wrong with you? You…”
He saw the ink on Sonya, pausing. “What happened to you?”
Sonya panted, chest tight, nose burning, eyes welling up.
She was usually even–tempered; she rarely got this angry.
“Security! Security!”
The voice came from Seraphina’s phone. She’d been watching the video of Sonya being attacked. by her fan.
Julian saw the video too.
He frowned. “Some fans are irrational, but Seraphina didn’t make them do this. Be reasonable!”
Reasonable?
Now she was being unreasonable?
“That video was edited and clearly biased. Don’t tell me her team didn’t do this. And those rumors. about me seducing you, why didn’t she deny them? One of her fans attacked me, and she’s. blameless?” Sonya yelled, losing control.
“I told you, you’re not a celebrity. So what if you’re being attacked online? It won’t affect you!” Julian frowned.
“Why should I take the blame for her?!”
“Because I say so!”
“Julian Jennings!” Sonya yelled, her breath catching.“My biggest mistake was ever getting involved. with you!”
Seeing Sonya cry, Julian
Julian was stunned. Then he irritably kicked.
a
chair.
“Mistake? Hah, yes, a huge one.”
Sonya had only shed one tear, purely out of
anger.
Taking a deep breath, she looked at Seraphina.
“I expect a clarification as soon as possible. If not, I’ll do it myself. I’ll reveal the truth, and if I stir up a scandal, it won’t be my problem.”

Julian sneered “What?”
“Seraphina’s fiancé‘
Julian’s smile froze. He expected insults–slave, jerk, whatever because she was angry.
But she calmly said he was Seraphina’s fiancé.
He was no longer hers; he belonged to Seraphina.
“So?” he asked.
“So.” Sonya stepped back, indicating the distance between them. ‘Don’t order me around. Let’s maintain a polite distance.”
She continued to step back, creating more space….
Julian’s eyes were cold, watching her retreat as if he were
That afternoon, Seraphina posted a statement.
stranger to her
“Regarding what happened today, I apologize to Doctor Ella on behalf of my fans. I understand their feelings, but please don’t take matters into your own hands. I’ll handle this myself. To Doctor Ella, I’m really sorry. I hope you won’t be mad. I don’t want to discuss the past. My fiancé and I are doing well. That’s what matters. Wait for our wedding candies. Love you all
Ashley read it, then cursed. “What kind of clarification is this? She portrays herself as a victim. She seems sincere, but it’s all about her suffering, her generosity, and her perfect relationship with her fiance. You’re still the homewrecker!”
Ashley was furious, wanting to stomp on Seraphina’s face.
“Hey, look, she posted another photo.”
Ashley showed Sonya the photo.
Seraphina sat cross–legged in bed, her IV still attached.
She had a weary smile, hands cupping her face, the light from the window creating a halo.
