Chapter 13: Are You Crazy? 

Sonya sat bolt upright, grabbing her phone to correct the mistake, but Henry had already replied. 

“Okay.”

Sonya stared at the message, stunned. 

She’d been provoked by Julian. He acted as if his marriage was so significant, and she was so undesirable. 

She’d even told him she was marrying someone else, but he just laughed at her. 

Sonya slapped her forehead, figuring out how to salvage this. 

Then Henry texted her again.

“It might not be such a great day,” she typed nervously.

Sonya held her phone close to her heart, as if she could feel Henry by doing that. 

Halfway through her porridge, Sonya fell asleep. 

Luke woke her up when they arrived. 

“Thank you again,” she said. 

Luke waved. “It’s my job. The more you need me, the more I earn.” 

Sonya smiled. “Good night.” 

“Good night.” 

After Luke left, Sonya saw Jake drop Julian off. 

After a long sleep, Julian got sober. He got out of the car alone, noticing Sonya.

“Just wait. I’ll get her.” 

Julian reached his door, staring at the keypad. “It’s our anniversary. Which day was it?” 

Jake rolled his eyes. “August 5th, 2016. It’s also Sonya’s birthday.” 

“Oh, right.”

The next day, Sonya went to work. Seraphina’s fans had gathered at the hospital entrance, holding banners demanding Sonya’s dismissal. 

Sonya arrived at her office, but had no patients all morning.

Sonya’s heart sank. “Am I being attacked again?” 

“No. It’s the photo you posted yesterday. It’s spreading.” 

“Didn’t you say Seraphina’s team suppressed it?” 

“Yeah, it looked that way yesterday. But it’s trending again.” 

Sonya checked her phone. The post was rising rapidly, exploding. 

Unlike before, it wasn’t just Seraphina’s fans attacking her. There were fair comments and analyses. 

“This photo clearly shows Doctor Ella and Mr. Jennings were a couple in college. But Seraphina blatant lie.” said she and Mr.
