Calvin’s hometown wasn’t big, and the most luxurious hotel in town was just three stories high. But to be fair, it was decorated quite festively. 

Sonya went to park the car, while Calvin went to offer his wedding gift.

Upon hearing Sonya’s voice, Victoria was a little flustered, afraid that their conversation was overheard. She turned around and saw Sonya; thinking back to what Sonya had said, she pursed her lips.

Sonya raised her right hand and showed Victoria the ring on her ring finger.“You may think of me as his fiancée if you’d like.” 

Victoria snorted, “He has money to buy a ring? I’ve been dating him for so long, and he never bought me one.”
