Marry You Like A Thief novel Chapter 14

"Forget it. Let's celebrate our plain journey tonight! Good luck!" Austin raised his glass and burst into laughter. Aunt Anna's matter had been properly handled. She had survived step by step over the years, and she should have a good life from the day on!

"Oh Oh?" If Derrick confronted him, would everything go smoothly for Austin? He grew up with him in an orphanage, and then was adopted. He had gone through trials and hardships in the Lu Family. No one knew that in fact, he had suffered alone from the pain. He never showed his weak side.

Derrick suppressed his thoughts and smiled at Austin. He should be happy as his good friend was happy now.

"Bang!" Jay pushed the door open and saw Riley sitting in front of the dresser, applying skin care products on her face carefully.

"Honey!" Riley patted the cream on her face to make it absorb evenly. Then she stood up, ran to him and sat down in a coquettish manner. "Honey, how are you doing in the company recently? You always look tired. Let me give you a massage, okay?"

Jay pushed her away without leaving any trace. He really didn't like the smell of skin care products that she had been applying, let alone talking with her at a close distance, which was very annoying.

Biting her lips, Riley turned around and gently massaged Jay's shoulder. Feeling that his hard muscles relaxed a bit, she approached him and whispered in his ear, "Honey? I'll make some soup for you. I'm very worried about your health."

Jay felt warm in his ear and frowned impatiently. He did have a lot of things to deal with in the company recently. He would only be on high alert when Riley was buzzing in his ear. It was impossible for him to relax himself.

"No, thanks. You just need to stay at home and be Mrs. Du. I don't want you to be too tired, not to mention that you don't know so much about my business."

"I know, honey. You love me the most! I saw a bag recently. It's so beautiful! I'm totally attracted by it. Why don't you buy it for me? I'm bored at home. That's all I can do for fun."

Riley said, blinking her big eyes. The girls all thought highly of this limited edition bag. If I could buy it, they would not look down upon me!

She was Mrs. Du. How could she always wear the outdated clothes? Jay would not refuse. She had enough reasons!

"Is there not enough money in your card?" Jay said slowly.

"I'm going to buy a limited edition. Do you think it's enough? As Mrs. Du, I should dress up well." Riley wrapped her arms around Jay's neck tightly.

She had a lot of things to do. How could she have enough money? Even her mother laughed at her for not being loved by her husband.

"You know the password." Jay took out a card from his wallet, handed it to her with his fingers, and pulled his tie. "I'm going to take a shower."

"Go ahead, honey. I love you!" Riley let go of her hand and said affectionately. Looking at the card in her hand, a flash of complacency flashed across her eyes.

The next day, Vivian had already prepared breakfast. She was eating bread while staring at the pad in her hand.

After putting the condensed milk, Jeffrey cut the bread into pieces and pushed the plate in front of her.

"Let's eat first!"

"Okay." Hearing this, Vivian put down the pad reluctantly and ate the breakfast on the plate. After chatting with her baby yesterday, she was in a better mood and ate more.

"What are you going to do today? I have told you to put aside your work in advance. You should do the most important thing right now." Jeffrey said. He knew that Vivian had been tracking the Pei Group.

"I just want to have a look. Besides, I have nothing to do. What's wrong with that? I learned management abroad. Can't it be useful here?"

"Just with your little trick?" Jeffrey raised her eyebrows, "It's not impossible. Just don't be too tired. Besides, if I find out that you are hiding something from me, you will be miserable!"

"There is nothing to hide from you."

Hearing that, Vivian curled her lips. She planned to go to the Pei Group today to check the internal situation. Jay was always in charge of the company. That bothered her for a long time.

When they arrived at the company, the receptionist was surprised and said nothing. Looking at the unusual appearance and dressing of Vivian, she couldn't help but glance at her. Was she looking for someone?

Was she looking for a handsome man in the company? No way! He was the prince charming in everyone's eyes. How could she occupy him alone!

"Hello, what can I do for you?"

Vivian ran her fingers through her long hair and said, "Thank you. I'm just looking for someone."

"You need to find someone? Who is it?" The receptionist asked curiously.

"A friend of mine." Vivian didn't expect the receptionist to be so "enthusiastic" when she came to see the employees. Did she think she was going to do something bad?

"Miss, the personal grudges should be handled after everyone gets off work. If you are free, you can go out to play. There is a rule in our company. I'm sorry." The receptionist looked at her angrily.

"I'm sorry. I'm here to deliver a message to my friend. If I neglect it, I can't afford the consequences..." Seeing more and more employees passing by, Vivian was afraid of getting recognized.
