"I..." Colin's voice trailed off, growing softer until it was nothing more than gentle, rhythmic breathing.

After a few moments, the woman in the bed quietly slipped out, carefully covering him with a blanket. She sighed softly, sounding a little amused.

"Didn't you say you wanted to hear my story? In the end, it was me listening to yours." She shook her head with a gentle smile. "How childish."

The following day, Colin woke up on the floor and found himself covered with a dark blue blanket he hadn't had the night before. When he stood up, he discovered his bedroom was impeccably neat. It was so clean that it didn't feel like his room. A strange feeling washed over him.

Suddenly, his phone rang. It was Otto calling to remind him about the company meeting. Colin quickly grabbed a formal suit and rushed through his morning routine.

As he hurried downstairs, he saw Lucy in the dining room, smiling as she wiped the face of a small boy who looked about four or five years old.

Hearing footsteps, the boy looked up first. "Wow, Mommy, your husband looks just like Cherry's husband!"

Colin froze, staring at the boy. Is he... Lucy's son?

"Where are your manners," Lucy gently chided, tapping the boy's head. "His name is Colin."

"Oh." The boy nodded before looking back at Colin. "Mommy, your husband, Colin, looks just like Cherry's husband."

Lucy rolled her eyes before turning to Colin, standing in a daze on the stairs. "Are you heading to the company? Skipping breakfast?"

Colin snapped out of his thoughts, feeling a bit awkward. "Yeah, I'm running late. There's something urgent in the company."
