I didn't even bother booking a hotel; I came straight to your place from the airport! But you..." Her voice trailed off as she sniffled sadly. "You hit my butt the moment we saw each other! If my butt is flattened, you'll have to make it up to me!"

Lucy was silent for a moment, processing everything. "But... last night, my son said he saw you taking off Colin's clothes."

"D*mn! That brat!" Mandy scoffed, rolling her eyes. "He was upstairs doing who-knows-what, and suddenly the power cut out! You know how scared I get in the dark, and Colin was watching a horror flick. Of course, I was freaking out! I didn't undress him; I was just holding onto his clothes!"
