Yvette took a leisurely sip of water, tracing the rim of her cup with delicate fingers. “Unreliable?” 

Sienna rubbed her nose, eager to clarify, “Yvette, our dealings with Xander Group are mainly because the real power lies with Gael’s wife, Seraphina, the youngest daughter of a count from Mysonna 

Yvette reclined languidly on the sofa, a glimmer of intrigue playing across her exquisite features. “Please, continue.” 

Sienna explained further, “Under Gael’s leadership, Xander Group has been hollowed out. If not for Seraphina’s determination to marry him, the company would have gone bankrupt long ago. Gael appears in charge, but it’s really Seraphina who holds the reins.” 

Sienna showed her firm belief in Seraphina. “She’s remarkably capable and trustworthy, which is why we’ve collaborated with Xander Group for years without issues. 

“However, I can’t reach Seraphina now, leaving me in the dark about things. Switching factories is tough because no company can handle our orders at short notice,” 

They had been stood up by Xander Group. If Vibe were smaller, there might still be time to recover. But Vibe’s quarterly output equaled that of dozens of clothing firms. 

Finding a reliable company to contract with on short notice felt nearly impossible, especially since Vibe upheld exceedingly high standards for their garments. This busy season had brands rushing to prepare for upcoming collections, and any reputable company had already solidified agreements with others. 

With Seraphina unreachable and Gael seemingly avoiding meetings, it was clear he planned to slow Vibe’s progress, indicating treachery. 

Yvette finished her last sip of water with graceful ease, calmly retrieving her phone from her pocket to dial a number. The line connected quickly. 

Klein’s weary voice answered, tinged with surprise, “Hello, Yvette What can I do for you?” 

Seeing Yvette’s name on his screen had left Klein momentarily confused. He acquired her number during a collaboration on 

research project, thinking he’d never use it again. Yet here she was, calling 

Yvette’s gaze was penetrating as she asked, “Is Gael your dad?” 

Klein’s secret documents listed Gael as his father. 

Klein paused, his emotions dimming as he confirmed, “Yes.” 

The thought of being linked to Gael, whose blood ran in his veins, sickened Klein; he viewed Gaglas less than human, a mere beast. 

Yvette’s expression remained impassive. “I need to know Gael’s whereabouts.” 

Caught off guard, Klein didn’t question Yvette’s motives but simply replied, “Please hold on.” 

Yvette’s eyes lowered briefly. Conversations with sharp individuals were always efficient. 

Within two minutes, Klein returned to the line. “Yvette, Gael is sheduled to attend a party tomorrow at Regal Tower, at eight in the evening”

Upon hearing this, Yvette raised her brows. It coincided with the dinner Jeremiah would be attending.

In just two minutes, Yvette had sent Klein one million as payment for his information. 

Klein, devoid of pretense, replied, “Thank you, Yvette. I accept

After hanging up, Sienna stared at Yvette in disbelief, wondering if Yvette had really just spoken with Gael’s son. “Yvette, were you just on the phone with Gael’s son? Which one! Sienna asked, her curiosity piqued.
