Yvette glanced at Nora and the people the latter had brought with her. Then, she lifted her eyelids slightly and twirled the gun in her hand, not making any big movements. 

The next second, a bullet sped toward Nora. 

Caught off guard, Nora quickly yanked the nearest man in front of her as a shield. 

The bullet pierced through the man’s chest. He collapsed to the ground, his eyes staring lifelessly at the crystal chandelier above him, and died. 

Without sparing a glance at the fallen man, Nora stared at Yvette in shock. “How dare you shoot us? We’re subordinates of Mr. Atkins from Steel Serpents. You-” 

Yvette squinted her eyes and interrupted Nora, “He’s dead. I don’t care who he is.” 

Jeremiah’s gaze darkened, the air around him growing even colder. 

“Shall we kill them all?” He turned to Yvette and asked calmly, as if inquiring about something trivial. 

Hearing this, Nora panicked, musing, ‘Who exactly are this woman and man? I’ve revealed my identity as a member of Steel Serpents, yet they still dared to attack us.‘ 

Emmett, Bruce, and the others also turned to look at Yvette, who was sitting on a chair with her legs crossed, appearing utterly composed. 

The lives of the members of Steel Serpents depended entirely on Yvette’s decision. 

A wicked smile played on Yvette’s lips as she raised her eyebrows slightly. Her eyes glinted with defiance as she said calmly in a slow tone, “Keep her. Kill the rest.” 

Emmett, Bruce, Chris, and Frankie nodded. Since they were in Ybaulla, they might as well take the chance to kill as many as they could. Letting even one go would feel like a loss. 

Sensing the imminent danger, Nora shouted, “Retreat! Now!” 

As soon as the words left her mouth, Emmett and the others pulled out their guns from their pockets. They had always carried the guns with them but rarely had the chance to use them, as they were always with Yvette and Jeremiah, who handled everything.
