Thiago chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement as he looked at Savannah. He was well aware of her playgirl reputation. ‘She’s looking for her soulmate? Who is she trying to fool?‘ he scoffed inwardly. 

In the past years, Savannah had countless boyfriends. ‘She’s just putting up an innocent act because of her interest in that handsome guy who just got on the bus,‘ Thiago thought. 

Despite his musings, Thiago admitted that the man possessed stunning looks that would make any woman’s heart skip a beat. 

Moreover, the woman next to him was gorgeous. While Thiago had met countless women with Savannah’s ordinary looks, this was his first encounter with a woman who carried herself with such refined elegance. 

Savannah and Thiago traded understanding glances, coming to an unspoken agreement. Quickly, the conversation between them became a competition of their wealth and family influence. At the same time, the duo dropped subtle hints about their single status.

Even if she had considered their proposal–which she hadn’t–Savannah’s manipulative arrogance would have been enough to shut it down. 

Sienna’s voice cut through the air, sharp and fluent in Ybaullan. Shut your mouths. This is a public space, not your backyard. I’ll rip you apart if I hear another word coming out of your mouths.” 

Sienne was incredibly intimidating when she got angry. Years in the cutthroat business world had shaped her into an intimidating presence, someone who could dismantle entitled people like Savannah and Thiago with ease. Her words silenced them instantly, her commanding presence leaving them flustered, 

Bruce affectionately held Sienna’s hand, though his eyes darkened as they fixed on Thiago and Savannah, His tone was ice cold as he warned, “My girlfriend’s temper is short, so you’d better take her advice and stay quiet.” 

Even Frankie, with his thug–like appearance, eyed them with disdain. “We’re not interested in your clothing or makeup companies. Next time you try showing off, make sure it’s worth our time. Aren’t you embarrassed flaunting such a mediocre background?” 

Thiago and Savannah’s faces turned pale with embarrassment as their hands trembled with anger. As silver–spooned kids, everyone always treated them with the utmost respect. This was he first time, they were humbled and spoken to so harshly.

Taken aback by the group’s reaction, the duo could only sit in stunned silence. 

In the next moment, Yvette slowly opened her eyes and took off her hat. Her gaze settled on the coat draped over her before shifting to Jeremiah, who had awoken at the same time with a relaxed look. 

Yvette overheard every word of Savannah and Thiago’s conversation. If Sienna hadn’t stepped in earlier, Yvette would have lost her temper. 

As soon as Yvette woke up, Sienna, Bruce, Chris, and Frankie fell silent. A ticked–off Yvette who had just risen from her slumber was not to be messed with. 

Noticing Yvette’s attention, Thiago tried to flash her what he thought was a charming smile while Savannah, emboldened by Jeremiah’s presence, blushed and offered him a shy, coy smile. 

Casually, Yvette stood up from her seat and walked to the middle aisle. Her hands slid casually into her pockets, her steady posture unshaken by the bus‘ bumps and jolts. Her features were delicate, yet they carried an air of coldness. 

Yvette addressed Savannah calmly, “You’re really loud, you know that?” 

Suddenly, tears started streaming down Savannah’s pitiful face. She cowered before Yvette with a terrified look, painting Yvette out to be a bully. 

Sniffling, she said, “Miss, I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to be so loud. We were just talking, and maybe we got carried away. I didn’t mean to disturb you and your friends. Please, forgive me. 

After she spoke, Savannah gave Yvette a deep bow. Upon lifting her head, the corners of her eyes were red and puffy. Anyone who didn’t know better would think that she had been terribly wronged. 

Seeing Savannah’s impressive performance, Sienna immediately realized that she was a manipulative wench trying to play the victim card against Yvette. 

Sienna rolled up her sleeves as she recalled Yvette’s advice to deal with the likes of Savannah straightforwardly. 

‘With a scheming bitch like her, if you give her an inch, she’ll take a mile. Based on the cunning look in her eyes, she has her sights set on Mr. Chavez,‘ Sienna mused. 

Just as Sienna was ready to confront Savannah, Bruce gently held her back. “Relax, Yvette’s got this. You don’t need to step in,” he whispered. 

Sienna briefly pondered over Bruce’s advice. ‘He’s right,‘ she decided while sitting back down. ‘If I get physical, the most I’d do is leave scratches on her face. However, it would be entertaining to watch Yvette teach her a lesson. 

After apologizing, Savannah looked past Yvette to Jeremiah, who had just stood up. A sense of satisfaction bubbled within her as she gazed at him. ‘How wonderful would it be if this perfect man became my boyfriend?‘ she gushed inwardly. Savannah was dead set on getting her hands on him. Throughout her life, any guy she fancied ended up with her. It didn’t matter whether they had girlfriends or not. ‘He won’t be an exception!‘ she thought with arrogance. 

Yvette narrowed her eyes, seeing through Savannah’s act. ‘My life has been dull lately; I should spice things up,‘ she thought 

in amusement. 

At this, she smirked. “Is that it? Why can’t you Ybaullans learn how to apologize properly?”
