Master Odell’s Secret Ex-wife novel Chapter 1225

Chapter 1225 Sherry‘s lips moved. “What is it?”

She sounded feeble and helpless.

Queenie frowned upon hearing her meek voice. “I didn‘t tell my brother about you coming to the quarters, I have no idea how he knew.”

“Yeah. Okay.” Sherry did not suspect Queenie ratting her

out.

After all, Queenie only knew she wanted to come back to the quarters, but she did not know anything about her secret phone.

John obviously knew she came back for her phone, or maybe he already knew about the phone a long time ago.

If she was correct, he already knew about it before she even asked Queenie for help. The question would be how. Sherry was exhausted, mentally and physically. The exhaustion robbed her ability to think. She said to Queenie, “I‘m not suspecting you. Just go.”

“Sherry, are you okay?” “I’m fine.”

Queenie did not speak after that, and what followed was her hurried footsteps, striding away.

She must have left, so Sherry shut her eyes to rest. A terrible thought suddenly rushed into her head. Her eyes popped open in fear. She forgot to take birth control pills! Neither did she take any yesterday!

The next morning, Sherry sat up on the bed as soon as she heard noises from the door.

The door opened as Emerence brought breakfast over with two bodyguards escorting her. She looked as stern as usual while she put the tray of breakfast on the tea table by the bed and glanced at Sherry.

Thinking that she heard it wrongly, Emerence turned around in disbelief. “What did you say?

She took the pills and then started to dig into her breakfast.

Julie was standing outside the employee quarters, staring at the window in Sherry‘s room.

Emerence came out of the building and went up to her. After a respectful bow, she said, “I‘ve given the pills to her as ordered.”

Julie smiled warmly. “Thank you, Aunt Emerence.”

Emerence immediately said, “It’s part of my job, but don‘t you need to report this to the master?”

A hint of envy flashed in Julie‘s eyes as she smiled. “If John doesn‘t want her to be pregnant, he would have given her the pills yesterday.”

Emerence was more confused than before. “Then, why didn‘t you just tell me to inform her that there are no pills available? Why go the extra mile?”
