Just when Sherry wanted to answer, Celine suddenly turned and hid behind the trees.

Sherry immediately held her breath and peeked through the gaps in the bushes and trees.

Two figures walked out of the event hall and were walking along the garden by the main path. John was in the lead while Julie was following him.

Julie asked, “John, are you going to see Ms. Fowler?”

John glanced at her. “What’s the matter?”

Julie said in a small voice, “Nothing really. I just saw that Shannon‘s got a little condition tonight, so I was thinking if you could just check on her.”

“I‘ve made it clear between me and her. If you sympathize with her, you can go check on her yourself.”
