Master Odell’s Secret Ex-wife novel Chapter 1377

Chapter 1377

Sylvia thought she was hallucinating and walked forward quickly.

After approaching him, she saw him clearly and was stunned. “Odell? What are you doing here?”

Odell watched with a sullen face as she came up to him.“ Isn‘t your colleague sick? Weren‘t you supposed to accompany her? What are you doing alone? Where are they—“His cold voice suddenly froze when he walked up to her. He saw her weak complexion and stared at her intently. “What happened to you? Why are you so pale?”

Sylvia looked at him and said, “Take a guess.” Her hoarse voice reached his ears clearly. Odell frowned. “Are you sick? The one who was sick was you, not your colleague?”

“Yeah.” Since he found her here, she had nothing else to hide.

Odell‘s straight figure suddenly froze. After a moment, he raised his hand and touched her cheek. His expression was still unpleasant, but his palm was warm, and his movements were gentle.

Sylvia‘s nose suddenly stung, and her eyes grew red.

Odell‘s gaze hardened , then he looked at what she was

carrying in her hand: a box of simple fast food, and a plastic bag from a hospital.

His eyes soon swept to the back of her hand. His expression changed as he immediately lifted both of her hands.

The blood vessels on the back of both her hands were blue and purple. There were obvious marks left by several needle punctures.

His large hand clenched around hers uncontrollably as a surge of gloom welled up. He looked at her and asked coldly, “What happened to you?”

Sylvia‘s gaze wavered, and she replied, “It‘s just an ordinary fever.”

Odell gave her a look, then took everything that she was carrying into his own hands. “Open the door.”

Sylvia pursed her lips and took out her key card to open the door.

She did not turn on the heater in the room, but she had opened the window before she left, so there was a cold current when she entered.

She was just about to curl up from the cold when he dragged her into his arms.

Odell held her with one hand, placed the room card in the slot with the other hand, and turned on the heater.

Sylvia‘s gaze flickered as she looked at him.

After all this, Odell looked down at her. He pinched her face when he saw her red eyes and asked, “Tell me clearly about how you got sick during this period, and then I‘ll deal with you.”

Sylvia could not help but pout. “Then, I won‘t tell you.” “Do you dare not to?”

She smiled. “Try me.”

He narrowed his eyes coldly. “You‘ve gotten bold after leaving my side for so long, haven‘t you?” Sylvia was not upset and could not help but want to giggle.
