John looked at her full red lips and pursed his own. His

throat bobbed.

Sherry sensed something wrong and frowned at him.

John lifted his eyes to look at her figure and was suspicious.

Sherry went to the bathroom as soon as she entered the bedroom.

After quickly washing up, she put on her pajamas, blow- dried her hair, took her phone and a storybook, and went back to Caprice’s bedroom.

John had not left and was still sitting gracefully on the sofa, reading. He did not even look at her when she came in, possibly because he did not want to see her.

Sherry also did not pay attention to him. She climbed onto Caprice’s bed and lay down next to her.

She leaned against the bed and tapped away on her phone with her hands. He did not know who she was chatting with, but there was a smile on her face. It was obvious she wanted to sleep here tonight and not leave.
