Sherry choked on her words as if she had cotton stuffed in her throat. He never believed her, so no matter how much she explained, it was useless.

“Sherry, why are you not talking any more?” He stroked her face and continued coldly, “Is it because you won’t even bother to explain yourself?”

Sherry pursed her lips and said, “I’ve already explained myself. What else can I do if you don’t believe it?”

His eyes flickered for a moment. He chuckled and said, “I went on a business trip for two days, and you had dinner with him behind my back. How can I trust you?”
